The Nordic Collection features MGP. Marine Grade Poly (MGP) is made from the same type of plastic as our Regular Poly material, but it is manufactured differently and is much denser than Regular Poly.
MGP furniture is crafted from molded polyethylene, making it resistant to the elements, including UV rays, moisture, and extreme temperatures. It is designed to withstand elements such as sun, rain, and snow. It doesn’t splinter, crack, or fade over time. MGP Furniture requires minimal maintenance. It is easy to clean and doesn’t require staining, sealing, or painting. MGP allows for a thinner profile which allows for sleeker furniture designs.
