Custom Office Work

We are always excited when our clients come to us with unique interior design needs. We listen to their visions and skillfully craft them into reality. Ohio Hardwood Furniture recently worked with Dr. Nicholas King-Smith, owner of Pinnacle EyeCare, to build their new office space in Columbus, OH. Their doors opened in December of 2020.

Here is a preview of Pinnacle EyeCare. For your next eye checkup, we hope you can visit in person and book an appointment with Dr. King-Smith.

Drawing inspiration from various retail settings, Dr. King-Smith envisioned a bright, modern, and welcoming space for his optometry practice. Hoping to construct unique custom interior pieces, he approached Ohio Hardwood Furniture with the project.

Leveraging the sunlight gifted to the space, we used lighter wood tones to build the pieces.

Part of Pinnacle Eyecare's client experience is to enjoy the clean, modern, and fresh looking waiting area.

Shown here, the reception desk is made with rift sawn white oak.

The two dispensing tables allow patients to sit down and review their glasses purchases with the opticians.

The built-in wall displays are handcrafted using a matching timeless wood grain.

This bar height table with an accent top and display drawer showcases glasses for patients to browse.

To top it off, we custom made the wood slat ceilings too!

"Pascal's attention to detail is immaculate and he pointed out numerous aspects of design I had overlooked or missed entirely when it came to putting together my custom reception desk, the communal table, and, of course, the wood ceilings. Everything he made for our clinic was made completely custom for us down to the 1/8" inch in terms of dimension. I could not be happier with the final outcome. I don't have words to explain the thought and passion OHF puts into their work and it does not go without noticing. I would argue 99% of our patients come in and immediately have that "wow" affect. I consistently get asked who did our wood working and have referred several patients now to OHF. Moving forward, I will definitely be using OHF for future projects, we could not be happier!" - Dr. King-Smith
